The Registry of HBM studies is part of the HBM4EU Initiative (2017-2021), a joint effort of 28 countries, the European Environment Agency and the European Commission, co-funded under Horizon 2020.

It was developed within the activities of work package 7 - Survey design and field work preparation witch aims to identify existing data and respective data gaps within EU.

The registry complies information on human monitoring studies, projects and activities concluded since 2007, ongoing, recently initiated or planned developed by the research groups involved in the HBM4EU Initiative. Studies, projects and activities target, but are not limited to, the substances prioritized under the HBM4EU in the first and second rounds.
